Yeah yeah. I know it's been long. Like real long. But like, as if there's someone out there who reads this blog.
HAHAa. anyways. just some random thoughts. I feel that there is more to life than just studying, studying and studying, which most of us have been doing. Or should i say, what singaporeans have been doing. Work study work study work study.
if i can, its sad, but yeah, I would like to move out of the place that i grew up in, without all the family situations, school, the stress and stuff. All these just kinda suffocates you, and it kinda haunts you every second because you're constantly living in the same place which totally instills reminders from time to time. Uh. Not time to time, my mistake, its every waking moment.
How nice it would be nice to live somewhere where you wake up every morning with the gentle, cool breeze brushing against your face. When you look out of the window, you see nature, a meadow filled with dandelions, swaying with the wind. Not far away, there's the cool, sandy beach, where you can appreciate the beauty of nature's sunrise. You can just sit there dreaming the whole day, listening to 'Iron and Wine's "Flightless bird, American mouth".
In the afternoon, when its all hot and sunny, you find a spot in the cool and dampened woods to just chill out, read a book or two, listening to your ipod.
In the evening, strolling along the beach, allowing the waves to crash into your feet, and seep through your toes and claiming its place back in the waters. Night falls, it's even better. Lying on the shore, gazing into the endless sky, with millions of stars peeking at you, twinkling at you, as if they are giving you their blessings.
Freedom. Thats whats it. With nothing to worry about.
It's just a dream I've always wanted, to have it that way. To some people, it's labelled as running away from my problems, but to me, it's an opportunity to clear my mind, to be pampered by nature, to be engulfed in it, and to just appreciate it the way it should have been appreciated.
There. A post that i want it posted up long ago.
